As a Bilingual Administrative Coordinator, you will fulfill varied tasks as requested, to help ensure service excellence to our Canada Retirement clients.

This role is very administrative in nature, requiring keen attention to detail, ability to respond to changing priorities, and very strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Most of your incoming requests will directly support the Plan Administration Support team within Plan Member Services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Processing of urgent and sometimes complex retirement plan transactions.
  • Gatekeep shared email inboxes as needed, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support team members by following internal processes to request specialized reporting as needed
  • Learn and effectively execute various tasks performed within the team to support high volume periods.
  • Provide high quality service to our internal and external clients through accurate and timely fulfillment of requests.
  • Identify opportunities to gain efficiency in internal processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced customer-centric environment
  • Confidence and professionalism in interactions with internal and external customers
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail which would be demonstrated not only by accurately fulfilling requests but also by actively probing and questioning to ensure consistency and clarity
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively consider impacts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Group Retirements Services, pension legislation, Manulife systems and applications such as AWD and MPS is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • A strong team player, committed to being a positive contributor to the achievements of the team and of our business
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively consider impacts.

Salary range is expected to be between

$41,400.00 CAD - $69,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
