YOUR TEAM


Being part of the Formats team means exploring new forms of multimedia experience in outdoor and fantasy locations. It means taking part in the creation of innovative new entertainment models that are being rolled out around the world. 


YOUR MISSION


You'll be responsible for managing and installing audiovisual systems linked to our multimedia projects, such as video, lighting and sound. Thanks to your good knowledge of audiovisual and IT equipment, you'll be able to propose and advise on technological solutions during technical design. Because of the nature of the projects on which you'll have the chance to collaborate, you'll be required to travel frequently to project sites to get new multimedia installations up and running, or to troubleshoot problems. Finally, you'll support the technical management team during the various phases of the project (testing, mock-ups, calibration, assembly, etc.). 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical integration

  • Design and document audiovisual systems;
  • Prototype various technological intentions;
  • Assemble and prepare project equipment;
  • Install, configure and calibrate equipment and software on project site;
  • Manage technical equipment and digital files.

2. Operations support

  • Develop the audiovisual component of project operating documentation;
  • Provide remote and/or on-site technical troubleshooting in the event of project operating problems.

3. Be a resource for the team in his/her field of experience

  • Assist, train, support and/or build a product in line with acquired knowledge and skills;
  • Adapt his/her professional background to the various projects at Moment Factory.

4. Research and Development (R&D)

  • Participate in workshops to discuss projects and develop solutions;
  • Keep abreast of new developments (multimedia, software and technical integration solutions).

DOES YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDE

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or technical diploma in audiovisual production or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the audiovisual/technical/technological field;
  • Advanced command of French and English, both spoken and written, since your work will require you to communicate with English-speaking clients;
  • Ability to travel abroad;
  • Knowledge and / or  interest in the AI field;
  • Knowledge of video programming (Disguise, Coolux, Watchout, etc.);
  • Strong manual, assembly and installation skills;
  • Ability to design audiovisual, electrical & network technical diagrams in collaboration with the network architect;
  • Knowledge of cabling and welding;
  • Ability to install operating systems, maintain and diagnose computer systems (Mac and Linux an asset);
  • Knowledge of computer and AVoIP communication protocols (TCP/IP, SDVoE, NDI, MQTT, OSC, Artnet/DMX/sACN, RS232, LTC, MTC);
  • Knowledge of equipment (matrixes, video projectors, audio, lighting, etc.);
  • Audiovisual communication protocols (Dante, Artnet, NDI, DMX, MIDI, etc.) and networking (routing, sharing, network administration, IP, DNS, etc.).

ASSETS

  • Training in interactive media and performing arts;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Knowledge of lighting programming;
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, VectorWorks.
