We are looking for a talented individual to join our Affinity team at Marsh. This is a hybrid position based in Montreal, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
The Associate Client Executive (ACE) supports the Client Executive in delivering high-quality client service for an affinity portfolio. The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day servicing activities, supporting renewals and mid-term changes, and ensuring documentation and deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
We will count on you to:
- Support the Client Executive with day-to-day client servicing and coordination of client needs.
- Assist with identifying and analyzing client risks and help implement measures that improve business effectiveness and service quality in the market.
- Participate in strategic planning during renewal periods (renewal strategy, timelines, priorities, and coordination of internal stakeholders).
- Conduct targeted, structured marketing/business development with new prospects/clients as required.
- Support the management of mid-size and large accounts (follow-ups, priorities, deliverables, quality of information).
- Analyze client needs and recommend the most appropriate coverage solutions in the client’s best interest.
- Support placement activities by requesting quotes and negotiating terms with insurers, in line with client direction and internal guidelines.
- Follow up with insurers and clients/insureds to ensure timely issuance of policies/endorsements and resolution of open items.
- Support the preparation, processing, and delivery of certificates and related policy documentation.
- Review policies and endorsements for alignment with agreed terms and escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Support claims-related administration, including coordinating claim notifications to insurers and collecting required information.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date documentation and follow internal best practices for client service and compliance.
What you need to have:
- AMF license (required).
- Experience in Commercial Insurance brokerage/client service or a related role (commercial insurance preferred).
- Knowledge of renewal, endorsement, certificate, and placement processes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with documentation and compliance requirements.
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
