SSENSE is looking for an Associate Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will be at the heart of our financial operations and will have a direct impact on our success.

What you will do: 

  • Reconcile multi-currency payment processors: You will manage transactions in different currencies from payment processors and ensure everything matches. 

  • Participate in the recording and reconciliation of transactions: You will dive into sales, returns, credit notes, inventory movements, and expense account data to ensure everything is properly recorded. 

  • Process accounting entries: You will be responsible for processing accounting entries with precision and rigor. It's a bit like solving financial puzzles on a daily basis! 

  • Support month-end and audit processes: You will be required to prepare monthly bank reconciliations and provide support to the month-end closing process, as well as participate in the audit process. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement: You will have the opportunity to participate in the evolution of our systems and processes. Your ideas will be valuable in making our finance team even more efficient!

Qualifications

  • Hold a DEC or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent). 

  • Have between 0 and 2 years of experience in a similar position. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables hold no secrets for you!). 

  • An asset if you already know accounting software like SAP (this is a significant advantage!).
