• Ottawa: $129,500CAD- $ 170,100CAD
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

- Lead the exploration, design, and development of AI and Generative AI prototypes tailored to CSP business challenges and telecom use cases
- Translate complex customer pain points into scalable, high-impact AI-driven solution architectures
- Drive end-to-end solution design including architecture definition, technology selection, integration strategy, and deployment planning across telecom ecosystems
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to accelerate innovation and reduce time-to-market
- Support pre-sales engagements through solution positioning, customer workshops, technical demonstrations, and executive presentations
- Provide thought leadership on emerging AI/GenAI trends, telecom transformation, and intelligent automation opportunities
- Mentor teams and guide best practices in AI solution architecture, governance, and implementation
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, or related field
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or related domain is highly preferred
- Relevant industry certifications in AI/ML, Cloud, or Solution Architecture will be an added advantage
- Proven hands-on expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies including prototype development, accelerators, or enterprise AI implementations
- 10+ years of experience in IT, telecom, or digital transformation domains with strong exposure to CSP ecosystems
- Deep expertise in enterprise solution architecture and large-scale system design
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks is highly desirable
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern data/AI platforms
- Strong customer-facing experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical advisory roles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills across executive and technical audiences
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring teams and driving strategic initiatives
Preferred / Added Advantage
- PhD or advanced research background in AI/ML or related domains
- Publications, patents, or contributions in AI/GenAI research or innovation initiatives are a plus
- Prior experience with leading telecom vendors or telecom operators
- Familiarity with Ericsson portfolio or equivalent telecom environments
