We’re not like other banks—and our team isn’t either.

POSITION OVERVIEW

At BDC, our promise to be a different kind of bank means talent acquisition goes far beyond execution—you act as a true strategic partner. You bring market insight, approach each role from every angle (visibility, sourcing, engagement), connect workforce planning to talent pipelines, build authentic relationships with candidates, coach hiring managers, and ensure excellence across every step of the process.

And because AI is fully embedded in our talent acquisition practices, you’ll leverage it daily to maximize your impact.

We’re also looking for someone who has rolled up their sleeves in high-volume and cohort recruitment—you understand what it takes to manage a high flow of applications within tight timelines, without ever compromising quality or the candidate experience.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Advise hiring managers with clarity, influence, and practical strategic options
  • Bring market intelligence (talent availability, competition, trends) and adapt strategies in real time
  • Lead the full talent acquisition lifecycle: intake → visibility → sourcing → structured selection → offer, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Plan and execute high-volume and cohort hiring campaigns, maintaining rigor and quality at every stage
  • Partner on workforce planning to anticipate needs and build ready-to-engage talent pipelines
  • Engage and nurture passive talent communities
  • Champion our employer brand and clearly articulate what makes BDC truly different
  • Leverage AI daily to enhance sourcing, writing, insights, and operational efficiency
  • Drive innovation in how AI is integrated into our practices—you’re not just filling roles, you’re transforming how we hire

DEIA — EMBEDDED IN EVERYTHING YOU DO

  • Build diverse candidate pipelines and ensure inclusive, structured decision-making
  • Reduce bias through rigor, transparency, and coaching
  • Maintain accessible and equitable hiring practices

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in financial services, consulting, or commercial roles
  • Hands-on experience in high-volume or cohort recruiting—you can manage scale without sacrificing quality
  • Strong expertise in direct sourcing and structured selection methods
  • Passion for artificial intelligence—you’re an early adopter who experiments, brings ideas forward, and challenges the status quo
  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools embedded across TA processes
  • Workday experience is a strong asset
  • Natural ability to influence, prioritize, and make sound decisions
  • Bilingualism required (French and English)
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in office at our beautiful Place Ville-Marie location, to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and internal partners
