Job Summary
Under direction of supervisor, responsible for accurately recording and tracking revenue and expenses of the business. Support the calculation and pay of agent commissions and payment in coordination with functional partners; Finance and Payroll. Balance various external and internal accounts. Create and coordinate financial and production reports for performance tracking and reporting. Review and provide input into financial analyses on company performance in partnership with supervisor and team.Job Description
Job Responsibilities:- Monitor and reconcile commission receivables by policy, producer, and carrier.
- Determines commission amounts due to producers; and pay based on established schedule. Inputs that will be used include: carrier commission statements, carrier & internal production reports and internal contract documents
- Prepare analyses required to determine results. Prepare analyses such as relationship profitability, agent penetration, carrier profitability, etc.
- Maintain carrier compensation grids.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Take direction proactively and is a team player.
- Knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles.
- Experience with excel and CRM systems.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a related role.
