About the role
We’re looking for an Account Manager focused on expanding value within our existing customer base through cross-sell opportunities. In this role, you’ll partner with customers who already trust our platform and help them discover additional products, features, and solutions that can deepen the impact they get from us.
This role sits at the intersection of customer success and revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Customer Success team, Product, and Sales to identify expansion opportunities, position additional solutions, and guide customers through the cross-sell process from discovery to close.
You’ll succeed here if you’re naturally curious about customer needs, comfortable having consultative commercial conversations, and motivated by helping customers unlock more value while driving measurable revenue growth.
What you’ll do:
Cross-sell opportunity discovery
Identify and qualify cross-sell opportunities within an existing customer base.
Analyze product usage, customer goals, and business challenges to uncover expansion potential.
Partner with the Customer Success team to prioritize accounts with the strongest expansion signals.
Consultative expansion conversations
Lead discovery conversations with customers to understand evolving needs and priorities.
Position additional products, modules, or features that help customers achieve better outcomes.
Translate customer goals into tailored solution recommendations that align with their current environment.
Deal management & execution
Own the cross-sell sales cycle from opportunity identification through close.
Build clear expansion proposals and guide customers through evaluation, pricing, and approvals.Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting in Salesforce.
Customer collaboration & internal alignment
Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to ensure a seamless expansion experience.
Share insights about customer needs and expansion trends to help inform product and go-to-market strategy.
Ensure cross-sell activities respect customers’ time and reinforce long-term relationships.
Performance & pipeline management
Build and maintain a healthy cross-sell pipeline within your assigned book of business.
Help develop and refine the Account Management playbook for cross-sell motions, documenting repeatable processes, messaging, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve account expansion workflows and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to build scalable processes and tools.
Track expansion metrics including pipeline coverage, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
Continuously refine messaging and approaches based on customer feedback and results.
What you’ll bring
3-5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account management, or customer expansion roles.
Proven experience selling into existing customers (cross-sell and expansion).
Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to connect product capabilities to customer outcomes.
Comfort managing a pipeline and working toward revenue targets.
Ability to collaborate across teams including Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
Strong communication and presentation skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
A customer-first mindset and the ability to balance growth with long-term relationships.
Nice to have
Experience selling multi-product SaaS platforms or modular products.
Familiarity with product usage data or signals to identify expansion opportunities.
Experience working alongside Customer Success teams in a post-sales revenue model.
Experience with tools such as Slack, Salesforce, SalesNav, Momentum, Salesloft, Google Suite, Confluence and more
Location and working hours
This role is remote within Ontario with occasional travel to conferences and trade shows.
Working hours generally align with standard Eastern Time business hours. Some schedule flexibility may be required to accommodate customer conversations across time zones.
Compensation Philosophy
The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
If your expectations are above this range, it may be because your experience aligns with a more senior level. In some cases, we’re open to hiring at a higher level for the right person and are committed to paying competitively and fairly.
If your experience is closer to an earlier career stage, we may still consider your application. In that case, we would evaluate the role at a different level within our levelling framework, which would correspond to a salary below the range shown.
