Assists ophthalmic surgeons in the operating room by sterilizing instruments, preparing surgical tools, coordinating patient flow, supporting patients before and after procedures, and explaining postoperative eye-drop schedules. The role requires precise data handling, empathy, strong communication, comfort standing during surgery, computer proficiency, French and intermediate-to-advanced English, and availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Leads the organization’s procurement function, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory, and improving procurement systems and processes. The role drives cost reduction, automation, analytics, and cross-functional supply chain initiatives while monitoring KPIs and contractual performance. It also involves leading, coaching, and developing a procurement team across a multisite environment.

Assists ophthalmologists during intraocular and LASIK procedures by anticipating their needs, following protocols, coordinating interventions, and operating specialized surgical technology. Works standing in the operating room, accurately records and reviews data, supports patient safety and risk management, and reports incidents. The role includes internal training, full-time weekday availability, and possible travel to Quebec clinics for training.
