Teams at vCluster

Build production infrastructure features in Go while embedding security into the product. Own vulnerability triage and remediation through patched releases, threat-model new features, conduct security-sensitive code and design reviews, and improve secure engineering practices. Requires deep Kubernetes knowledge, including API server, admission control, RBAC, controllers, kubelet, and attack surfaces such as container breakout and privilege escalation.

Owns end-to-end test strategy, designs scalable backend and UI automation frameworks, integrates automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, performs exploratory testing, and advocates for testability and reliability across engineering and product. The role requires strong programming, Kubernetes and distributed-systems knowledge, debugging ability, and cross-functional ownership in a fast-moving startup.

Design and build the core vCluster Platform using Go and deep Kubernetes expertise. Own backend features end to end, from technical design through release, while solving complex systems architecture challenges involving networking, storage, isolation, and resource sharing. Contribute to open-source projects and the Kubernetes community, operate autonomously in a high-growth startup, and help define scalable Kubernetes multi-tenancy solutions.
