Provides technical leadership for Unity’s high-scale API Gateway platform, including architecture, implementation, testing, operations, incident response, technical planning, and debt reduction. Mentors engineers, drives cross-team initiatives, defines API standards, clarifies ambiguous requirements, and influences technical direction across the organization. The role requires hands-on software development, cloud operations, Kubernetes expertise, and experience building web services and platforms used by multiple engineering teams.

Leads the architecture, development, testing, operation, and long-term evolution of high-traffic API gateway and platform capabilities. Owns reliability, performance, security, incident response, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams. Partners with product managers and stakeholders to define strategy, roadmap, API standards, and scalable solutions for Unity’s internal service teams.

Build and operate multi-tenant, cloud-native platform infrastructure (Kubernetes, IaC) to enable hundreds of engineers: tenant isolation, policy enforcement, cost allocation, SOX compliance, secrets management, deployment pipelines, security hardening, and reliability improvements across GCP and multi-cloud environments.
