Leads HR business partnering across US and Canada, directing HR Business Partners and advising senior leaders on employee relations, labor relations, talent management, compliance, workforce strategy, and organizational change. Develops HR policies and programs, supports M&A and strategic projects, ensures legal compliance, and promotes a high-performance culture. Oversees HR staff and provides guidance across diverse, potentially unionized workforces.

Leads laboratory and pilot plant hydrometallurgy research programs, coordinating technical work, schedules, client communications, budgets, billing, risk assessments, equipment setup, reporting, and quality requirements. Supervises and trains technical staff, ensures health and safety compliance, manages multiple projects, and supports mineral processing, flowsheet development, bench-scale testing, and pilot plant campaigns. Occasional travel to other metallurgical laboratories and extended hours may be required.

Supports strategic sourcing and procurement leadership through spend and supplier analysis, RFx coordination, requisition and purchase order support, invoice issue resolution, supplier evaluations, savings validation, and procurement reporting. Coordinates supplier review meetings, tracks action items, validates pricing and SLAs, maintains procurement records, and assists with multiple categories including facilities, travel, fleet, logistics, and operating supplies.

Responds to customer concerns, resolves issues with internal departments, supports project and operational teams, and helps maintain accurate systems and deliverables. The role also provides backup support, assists with meetings and events, and contributes to timely, high-quality service delivery.

Responsible for inspecting welded and manufactured components for compliance with specifications and standards, conducting non-destructive tests, and ensuring quality assurance.
