Finance-focused internship opportunities in Montreal for university students entering Rio Tinto’s 2027 Winter Internship Program. Leads technical qualification, product adoption, customer problem resolution, quality improvement, and new product programs for Rio Tinto’s aluminum rolling slab portfolio. Provides expertise in slab casting and rolling, supports customer relationships, audits, negotiations, and business development, and communicates technical value propositions. Collaborates globally with customers, sales, operations, quality, and research teams. Frequent travel of approximately 30–50% is required.

Leads controllership oversight for a global business portfolio, ensuring financial statement integrity, accounting governance, internal controls, regulatory compliance, audit management, and timely close processes. Directs complex accounting guidance, finance transformation, automation, analytics, responsible AI adoption, and process improvement. Builds relationships with senior finance stakeholders, leads geographically dispersed teams, develops accounting professionals, and drives remediation, accountability, and change across the organization.
