Develop and maintain Java and Python software for Elsevier’s Research Data Platform. Responsibilities include writing, debugging, reviewing, and improving code; harvesting and transforming large datasets; and supporting data products. The role involves data modeling, manipulation, DevOps practices, and technologies such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Databricks, Airflow, and Iceberg. Professional English and French communication and residence in the Montreal area are required.

Creates, reviews, edits, and maintains practical legal materials covering capital markets, securities, and M&A. Monitors legal developments and product competitiveness, manages relationships with Canadian legal practitioners, contributes to content strategy and product development, and supports sales and marketing through demonstrations and training. Requires Canadian bar membership, at least three years of relevant legal practice, strong writing and communication skills, legal content experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with AI and LLM tools.
