Teams at Outpost VFX

Creates effects and dynamic simulations for characters and creatures in photorealistic and stylized environments. Develops cloth, hair, fur, feather, skin, and muscle simulations using Houdini, balancing artistic and technical skills. Collaborates with creature workflow departments and ensures effects are believable and consistent with each project's visual style.

Creates photorealistic visual effects—including fire, fluids, atmosphere, explosions, character effects, and magical effects—for high-end film and episodic productions. The role may also involve developing tools and mentoring junior artists. Strong Houdini experience, artistic judgment, and prior high-level VFX production experience are required.

Creates high-end visual effects by compositing 2D, 3D, computer-generated, and live-action elements in Nuke. Evaluates creative and technical approaches with compositing and VFX supervisors, performs tracking, layering, and color grading, and maintains photorealism, color balance, aesthetic integrity, and technical quality across assigned shots. Applies client feedback and shot notes to moderately difficult through highly complex work.
