Owns global payroll operations for approximately 320 employees across the US, Canada, and UK. Leads multi-jurisdictional payroll processing, tax compliance, time management, statutory filings, retirement plan administration, reporting, reconciliations, audits, vendor relationships, and payroll system configuration in Ceridian Dayforce. Partners with HR, Accounting, tax teams, employees, and external providers to resolve issues, improve processes, support employee lifecycle transactions, and manage payroll system changes.

Own and optimize AWS database platforms, including RDS, Aurora, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch, while supporting Oracle modernization and migration. Automate provisioning, configuration, deployments, scaling, backups, disaster recovery, security, and schema changes using infrastructure as code. Tune database performance, improve reliability and cost efficiency, support development teams, respond to production incidents, and lead data technology proof-of-concepts. Participate in a compensated after-hours on-call rotation every two weeks.

Leads software development across mobile, web, back-end, and quality engineering teams. Defines technology strategy, roadmaps, architecture standards, and delivery plans while managing budgets, staffing, reliability, security, and operational excellence. Develops managers and engineering teams, drives cross-functional alignment with product and business stakeholders, and represents engineering at the executive level. Oversees scalable platform delivery, performance metrics, incident management, and continuous improvement, including adoption of AI-native development methodologies.
