Own NerdWallet’s machine learning product roadmap from opportunity discovery through production and adoption. Partner with Data Science, ML Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Engineering, and business teams to define objectives, prioritize initiatives, manage technical dependencies, evaluate model performance, and measure business impact. Lead cross-functional delivery, influence senior stakeholders, establish ML product strategy, and mentor product managers and partners without formal authority.

Lead the development and deployment of production-grade machine learning models for customer lifetime value, lead scoring, recommendations, ranking, personalization, and marketing optimization. Build scalable ML workflows using Databricks and MLflow, establish model monitoring and reproducibility standards, evaluate business impact, and mentor data science practitioners while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Analytics.

Build and operate production Python services, AI-enabled workflows, RAG systems, multi-agent applications, and security automation platforms. Automate threat modeling, policy Q&A, vulnerability analysis, and code review while integrating tools such as GitHub, Slack, Jira, and Confluence. Design scalable pipelines, improve AI quality through evaluation and observability, manage production tradeoffs, and apply security controls to AI applications. Own initiatives from problem definition through production while collaborating with engineering and security stakeholders.
