Build and operate production-grade web scraping and data acquisition infrastructure primarily in Rust. Responsibilities include developing resilient scrapers, managing proxies, reverse-engineering web applications, operating heterogeneous distributed systems, monitoring fleet health, diagnosing failures, improving observability and reliability, and deploying LLM-based agents for source discovery and troubleshooting. The role collaborates with analysts and researchers to deliver fresh, high-quality data for trading and research operations.

Own and operate low-latency network infrastructure for trading systems, including colocation connectivity, exchange feeds, L2/L3 topology, BGP and OSPF routing, PTP synchronization, firewall policies, automation, packet analysis, documentation, and incident response. The role involves designing infrastructure from scratch, managing vendors, building Python tooling, and participating in on-call support within a small network engineering team.

Own end-to-end reliability of trading workflows, monitor markets and macro developments, convert macro information into actionable trade signals, build/improve tooling and pipelines, and apply AI to automate research and workflows while contributing to trade thinking.
