The Senior Policy Advisor will conduct original policy research, provide strategic insights, and support evidence-informed program development while advising on organizational transformation.

Report to the CEO and manage the CEO Office’s daily and strategic operations. Provide strategic advice, coordinate executive meetings and governance matters, oversee HR and budget for a small team, lead cross-functional priorities and special initiatives, and strengthen organizational alignment and stakeholder relationships across Mitacs.

Maintain accounts receivable/payable and general ledger accuracy: enter transactions, create/process invoices, reconcile with purchase orders, process payments, manage filings, respond to stakeholder queries, and document processes for a high-volume accounting environment.
