Perform a technical upgrade of an on-premise Guidewire PolicyCenter environment, assessing code impacts, incompatibilities, and regression risks. Develop using Gosu and PolicyCenter configuration, apply advanced knowledge of the PolicyCenter data model, use the Guidewire Upgrade Tool, and prepare technical documentation. Prior Guidewire version-upgrade or Guidewire Cloud migration experience is essential, with autonomy in impact analysis and upgrade preparation. P&C insurance knowledge is beneficial.

Develop and correct Data Consistency Checks (DBCCs) in an on-premises Guidewire PolicyCenter environment, including data and Gosu code changes addressing root causes. After completing DBCC corrections, perform the upgrade from PolicyCenter version 10.2.2 to 10.2.5. The role requires autonomous technical diagnosis and implementation within the data model and code, rather than functional analysis, QA testing, or legacy data conversion.

Develop and maintain application components across front-end and back-end layers in a 50/50 split. Resolve complex Level 2 and Level 3 production incidents, perform root cause analysis, diagnose failures involving interfaces, batch processing, and data exchange, and support testing and deployments. The role also includes automating recurring processes and independently managing small technical projects while remaining hands-on with development and application support.
