The Strategic Risk Advisor identifies, assesses, monitors, and analyzes strategic, cross-functional, and emerging risks. The role advises business partners on projects and strategic matters, tracks mitigation plans and indicators, prepares executive reports, supports risk methodology adoption, analyzes trends, facilitates workshops, and collaborates across risk teams. The position requires strong analytical, communication, presentation, teamwork, and prioritization skills, plus advanced English and French proficiency.

Provide strategic regulatory and compliance advice to sales and manufacturing teams for insurance, savings, and retirement products; assess regulatory risks; design and deliver compliance training; maintain the compliance framework; support projects with practical recommendations and engage internal and external stakeholders.

Lead and maintain the Business Conduct & Tier 1 Surveillance Program across registered branches in Canada. Manage a team of senior and branch managers, oversee compliance reporting, product due diligence, regulatory inquiries, branch visit program, policy updates, training, and act as subject-matter expert for firm initiatives and compliance communications.
