The role owns major initiatives, partners cross-functionally with backend, product, design, integrations, and QA, and mentors engineers while advancing frontend architecture and collaboration.

Build and improve ClickUp’s core product experiences using Angular and React. Responsibilities include architecting reusable frontend code, collaborating with product, design, backend, integrations, and QA teams, addressing performance and usability issues, maintaining unit and end-to-end tests, resolving bugs, following state-management patterns, and delivering projects in a fast-paced environment. The role also involves mentoring teammates and improving engineering quality.

Lead the long-term frontend architecture strategy across ClickUp’s product surfaces. Design scalable, performant systems using Angular and React, solve cross-team challenges involving performance and state management, establish quality and testing standards, mentor senior engineers, and influence technical roadmaps and organizational decisions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong architectural judgment, collaboration, and expertise in large-scale web applications.
