Teams at Camunda

Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators for Camunda’s SaaS platform, supporting customer clusters, cloud infrastructure automation, multi-cloud and multi-region deployments across AWS and GCP. Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, reliable features, improve code quality, participate in on-call and third-level support, and promote automation and operational ownership.

Designs and maintains Camunda’s Kubernetes-based multi-cloud infrastructure, improving scalability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and automation. Owns systems end-to-end, participates in incident response and on-call rotations, creates runbooks, collaborates with product and engineering teams, and mentors less experienced engineers. The role requires strong Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, incident response, and automation expertise, with cloud, GitOps, programming, and SLO experience preferred.

Design and build durable, distributed data-streaming infrastructure that decouples process data from Camunda’s live execution engine. Develop customer-facing integrations such as Kafka connectivity, support analytics data consumption at scale, and make architecture decisions around consistency, durability, and storage. Participate in production support and on-call rotations while collaborating with Product, Data Layer, Distributed Systems, QA, SRE, and Support teams. Lead ambiguous, cross-functional engineering initiatives from design through delivery.
