Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators for Camunda’s SaaS platform, supporting customer clusters, cloud infrastructure automation, multi-cloud and multi-region deployments across AWS and GCP. Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, reliable features, improve code quality, participate in on-call and third-level support, and promote automation and operational ownership.

Designs and maintains Camunda’s Kubernetes-based multi-cloud infrastructure, improving scalability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and automation. Owns systems end-to-end, participates in incident response and on-call rotations, creates runbooks, collaborates with product and engineering teams, and mentors less experienced engineers. The role requires strong Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, incident response, and automation expertise, with cloud, GitOps, programming, and SLO experience preferred.

Design and build durable, distributed data-streaming infrastructure that decouples process data from Camunda’s live execution engine. Develop customer-facing integrations such as Kafka connectivity, support analytics data consumption at scale, and make architecture decisions around consistency, durability, and storage. Participate in production support and on-call rotations while collaborating with Product, Data Layer, Distributed Systems, QA, SRE, and Support teams. Lead ambiguous, cross-functional engineering initiatives from design through delivery.

Own corporate or GTM P&Ls, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and planning cadences. Partner with senior leadership on hiring, investments, resource allocation, and SaaS unit economics. Manage and develop a Senior Financial Analyst, administer Adaptive Planning, and implement AI-augmented finance workflows. The role requires advanced driver-based modeling, executive communication, and experience with enterprise planning platforms.

Build and maintain Camunda 8 backend data-layer services across relational databases and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch. Design scalable storage, query, retention, streaming, and secondary-storage solutions; investigate production data issues; improve performance and operability; and deliver engineering initiatives collaboratively with Product, QA, Support, and SRE. Participate in L3 support and on-call rotations.

Embedded within product teams, own and drive developer-facing documentation from concept to release. Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers, become a subject-matter expert, improve docs via analytics and feedback, and contribute to docs tooling and standards for Camunda's AI-oriented platform.
