Lead talent acquisition across Canada: develop employer brand and EVP, source diverse candidates via ATS and social media, manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, report recruiting metrics, optimize processes, represent ALS at events, and support HR projects.

Prepare geological samples for laboratory analysis: crushing, sieving, fractioning, loading/unloading drying ovens, operating light industrial equipment, maintaining production logs, applying methods correctly, and following strict lab safety in hot, dusty environments.

Perform sample preparation and warehouse tasks: move, scan and store cartons; assist with weighing, sieving, grinding, loading ovens, production recordkeeping, and general cleaning while following procedures and safety policies.

Prepare and sort client samples for geochemical analysis, perform special prep procedures (mixing, sieving, crushing, pulverizing), carry out QC checks, assist in training new staff, inspect equipment, follow safety procedures, meet production targets, and report issues to supervisors.

Prepare crucibles, mix flux/sample, perform fusions and cupellation for pyroanalysis. Adjust flux chemistry, apply lab methods and safety rules, handle sample prep, and assist supervisors. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong French communication.

Support monitoring and review of quality control data, investigate client technical concerns, coordinate with department directors, produce corrected data certificates and summary reports, analyze data with computer tools and basic statistics, perform laboratory and quality audits, update quality documentation, and assist with quality integration for new employees.

Perform sample weighing and prep for gold and base metal analyses using established methods (sponge method, pyro, LECO, liquid weighing). Maintain order and cleanliness in weighing and digestion rooms, follow SOPs, perform routine instrument maintenance, ensure safety compliance, organize and store samples, and assist supervisors with assigned tasks.

Conduct routine analyses on geological samples, ensuring quality standards, managing analytical methods, maintaining productivity, and training new technicians as required.

Prepare and process client geological/mineral samples for laboratory analysis: sort, weigh, crush, pulverize, sieve, perform QC checks, follow safety procedures, train new staff, and inspect equipment. Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.

Perform warehouse and sample-preparation tasks: move, scan and store cartons; assist with weighing; sieve, grind and fraction samples under supervision; load/unload drying ovens; keep production records; clean lab areas; follow procedures and safety policies; perform other duties as needed.

Support warehouse operations including preparing and organizing sample shipments, sorting and inventorying rejects and pulps, scanning pallets/containers, maintaining production targets, performing general cleaning and outdoor yard upkeep, and assisting with stock control and data entry.
