Stay22, a Montreal-based content monetization company, has raised $122 million in new funding from Summit Partners to accelerate product development and expand its global footprint, according to an announcement.

Stay22 provides technology that enables travel creators, media publishers and event organizers to turn booking intent into revenue. By analyzing contextual and behavioral signals, its platform directs audiences to relevant online travel agencies like Tripadvisor, helping partners maximize conversions and monetization.

With the new capital, Stay22 reported it plans to move beyond its travel-focused roots and build a broader creator monetization infrastructure spanning verticals such as food, fashion, lifestyle, retail and consumer technology.

Over the past two years, the company has tripled its workforce and is continuing to hire across product development, engineering and partner support. It also intends to strengthen relationships across its expanding global network of suppliers and partners.
