About the Role

We’re looking for a YouTube Search Marketing Manager to lead Chime’s organic presence on one of the most influential platforms in the world. In this role, you’ll own the strategy and execution of our YouTube channel—from planning and publishing to optimizing content for discovery and engagement. Your work will help build trust in our brand and make financial topics more accessible for millions of current and future members. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Brand, Creative, Compliance, and Analytics to grow a channel that’s not just active, but impactful.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and go up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, a competitive equity package, and a full range of benefits. Final compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive YouTube strategy that supports Chime's growth objectives and reinforces the brand's goals.
  • Manage the content calendar, channel programming, publishing workflow, and cross-functional inputs.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-quality, on-brand videos—from scripting to final cut.
  • Optimize metadata, thumbnails, playlists, and content structure for discovery, retention, and SEO.
  • Monitor performance, analyze analytics, and translate insights into strategy updates and reporting.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 4+ years experience managing a YouTube channel for a consumer brand, media company, or creator-led business.
  • Deep platform knowledge: YouTube Studio, analytics, SEO best practices, and algorithm fluency.
  • Strong experience collaborating with creators, influencers, or talent—understanding how content partnerships work and what drives creator-led engagement.
  • Comfortable with content planning and production workflows—from scripting to publishing.
  • Confident analyzing performance metrics (CTR, AVD, retention, etc.) and adjusting strategy based on data.
