This Position reports to:

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, inventory control, and shipping operations. You will manage budgets, implement Lean practices, and foster a safe, compliant, and collaborative work environment.

This position is on-site, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Propose and manage the annual warehouse budget, ensuring cost control and taking corrective actions when necessary.

  • Plan and optimize warehouse space utilization and inventory accuracy.

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, and shipping of goods, maintaining up-to-date inventory control systems.

  • Implement Lean practices to continuously improve operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.

  • Lead and develop warehouse teams, ensuring adequate staffing and skills development.

  • Promote collaboration across departments and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Drive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing personnel, preferably in a unionized setting.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Lean methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • University degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
