About the company

Trust Wallet is the leading non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, trusted by over 200 million people worldwide to securely manage and grow their digital assets. Our vision is to give individuals the freedom to own their assets, confidently participate in the future economy, and access opportunities that enhance their lives. Our mission is to be a trusted personal companion — helping users safely navigate Web3, the on-chain economy, and the emerging AI-powered future. With support for over 10 million assets across 100+ blockchains, Trust Wallet offers a seamless, multi-chain experience backed by industry-leading self-custody technology, a vibrant community, and a growing ecosystem of partners.

Role Overview:
As the Senior Product Manager (DeFi), you will lead the product strategy, vision, and execution for Trust Wallet. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, business development and security teams to deliver a seamless and secure user experience while driving product innovation in the fast-evolving Web3 space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for wallet infrastructure — chain integration, account models (EOA, MPC, AA/smart accounts), key management, and recovery flows.

  • Define and drive the standards and processes for onboarding new blockchains and tokens into the wallet, partnering with engineering, BD, and partner teams to execute smoothly.

  • Own the reliability, performance, and security of core wallet infra — balancing feature velocity with stability, accuracy, and defense-in-depth.

  • Research emerging blockchain ecosystems and account standards, evaluating technical trade-offs and translating them into product decisions and roadmap priorities.

  • Partner closely with engineering throughout the build and iteration cycle, ensuring technical solutions are delivered on time and align with user needs.

  • Work with security, compliance, and risk teams to make sure wallet infra decisions hold up against real-world threats and regulatory expectations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with swap, DeFi, dApp browser, and other product teams that depend on core wallet infra to ship their own features.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Web3/blockchain infrastructure or wallet infrastructure specifically; 5+ years overall as a technical product manager.

  • Genuine passion for Web3 and a sharp eye for where the industry — and wallet infrastructure specifically — is heading.

  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable in deep discussions with engineers on architecture, trade-offs, and implementation details, and able to translate that into clear product decisions.

  • Proven track record driving cross-functional execution across engineering, security, BD, and partner teams.

  • First-principles thinker who can break down ambiguous, complex problems into shippable plans.

  • Excellent communication skills and resilience operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

  • Solid technical understanding of EVM and Solana — account/transaction models, RPC behavior, and the practical differences that affect wallet integration and reliability.

  • Strong growth and data sense — comfortable defining metrics, reading funnels/dashboards, and using data to prioritize infra investments and measure impact.

  • Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
