VP of Application Services – Remote - FS415

The VP, Application Services is responsible for leading Fresche’ Application Services organization, encompassing application development, management, and support functions. This executive role drives the delivery of high-quality, scalable, secure, and reliable application development and services that maximize the value of our client’s IT investments. They are responsible for fostering business innovation, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic growth.

The VP will build and lead a highly effective global services organization, oversee application lifecycle management, manage projects and project managers, ensure alignment with business objectives, and lead technology professionals. Additionally, the VP will play a strategic role in identifying and engaging new clients, expanding business opportunities, and enabling Fresche to achieve its growth and market expansion goals in an efficient, scalable manner.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing for success; meeting & exceeding revenue objectives.
• Identify and engage new clients for application development and services, building strong relationships and expanding business opportunities.
• Oversee all projects and project managers related to application and development services, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business goals.
• Own the strategy, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications and services for our client projects.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, security, and reliability of all applications.
• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for application development and management.
• Developing plans and delivering results in a fast-changing business environment ensuring that our clients are consistently delighted with the post-sales delivery experience
• Manage budgets, relationships, and contracts related to application software and services.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver value-driven solutions. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of application and project managers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience of technical leadership, including application development, management, and delivery.
• Prior experience leading a team of 50+ (or more)
• Proven experience leading enterprise application teams, projects, and project managers, delivering large-scale initiatives.
• Experience in business development, client engagement, and building strategic client relationships.
• Experience with resource allocation/utilization

You’ll stand out if you have these:

• Expertise with IBM i and the IBM ecosystem is ideal
• Master’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent technical experience
• Previous experience at a leading consulting organization
