About Quandela

Quandela is a leading company in the field of photonic quantum computing. We develop photon-based quantum processors, as well as hardware and software solutions that enable businesses and researchers to harness the power of quantum computation. Through our innovative approach, we support a wide range of clients in sectors such as finance, logistics, and industrial optimization.

As part of our expansion in North America, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer in Quantum Computing under a VIE contract to join our team in Montreal and contribute to the growth of our activities in this key market.

Your Mission

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will act as the bridge between our technical teams and clients, playing a crucial role in the adoption and integration of our quantum solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

✅ Understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions that include quantum hardware, quantum algorithms and use cases, cloud and open framework development resources

✅ Presenting and demonstrating our technologies through workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and training sessions.

✅ Collaborating with our Research, Product & Sales teams to ensure successful project solutioning.

✅ Conducting technology watch activities and participating in conferences to promote our solutions.

✅ Supporting local teams in expanding Quandela’s network of partners and users across North America.

Your Profile

Education: Master’s degree or engineering diploma in quantum physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Solid understanding of quantum computing concepts, quantum computing architectures, and ideally photonic technologies. Experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Perceval, Cirq, etc.) is a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and pedagogical skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Languages: Fluency in French and English is essential.
