As a UX designer, you are responsible for defining and enriching the user experience of members and clients on different virtual platforms. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert for the definition of user journeys and the experience members and clients should have in the digital ecosystem, based on the organization's goals, user needs and technological capabilities. You lead different stakeholders with respect to development projects and complex, strategic initiatives of an innovative nature, in relation to the delivery of member- and client-focused solutions. You help solve highly complex problems that require analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed knowledge of the line of business and the organization. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You make recommendations on the development and execution of initiatives and projects with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity that have an impact on one or more business sectors. You interact with a large number of stakeholders working in other fields to understand and communicate the issues and to influence decision-making with respect to the user experience. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the identification of opportunities to improve the member and client experience, define business objectives and validate user needs.

  • Lead efforts to define the user journeys and the desired user experience within the sector of activity, based on research and analyses.

  • Ensure the design of mock-ups, user personalities, functional specifications and information architecture in the context of major projects.

  • Ensure the creation of experiments and perform solutions testing to understand digital client behaviours and improve platform performance.

  • Conduct trend monitoring, target opportunities for improvement by anticipating organizational impacts and develop practices in terms of digital design and user-focused design.

  • Conduct and ensure that co-creation runs smoothly between the UI, product management and IT development teams to ensure that the delivered solutions align with the business objectives.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
