We are looking for a UX Designer and a Accessibility Designerfor our growing team! 

 

What you’ll do here:  

UX Designer

  • Design and maintain the company's Design System, including UI components, style libraries, templates and guidelines.  
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure consistent implementation of designs.  
  • Collect and analyze user and stakeholder needs to inform and improve the Design System. 
  • Perform user testing and UX research to validate concepts and design iterations.  
  • Document Design System processes, standards and best practices to ensure clarity and consistency.  
  • Help train and guide internal teams on the use of the Design System.  
  • Stay up to date with trends and best practices in UX/UI design and systems design. 

Accessibility Designer

  • Design and facilitate collaborative decision-making workshops.
  • Design and document revised processes for product design, development, and quality assurance.
  • Communicate and manage change.
  • Research and draft guidelines on accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Support in the design and delivery of training sessions.
  • Evaluate accessibility through research, product testing, or design reviews

What you bring to the table:  

  • Bachelor's degree in  inclusive design, UX design, or a related field
  • Bilingualism (French and English) - Necessary to interact regularly with colleagues across the country
  • Available for 35 hours per week from January 5 to April 24
  • Must return to studies in the fall semester after your internship
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating quality user experiences.

Specific Skills - UX Designer

  • Portfolio demonstrating good knowledge of UX and UI design.
  • Proficiency in design and prototype tools (Figma, Adobe, etc.)
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility
     

Specific Skills - Accessibility Designer

  • Some familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Skills in one or more of the following areas: commercial design, change management, operations, product design, service design, web development, mobile development, business analysis, or quality assurance.
  • Individuals with lived experience of disability and assistive technologies are strongly encouraged to apply.
