We are looking for a UX Designer and a Accessibility Designer– for our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
UX Designer
- Design and maintain the company's Design System, including UI components, style libraries, templates and guidelines.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure consistent implementation of designs.
- Collect and analyze user and stakeholder needs to inform and improve the Design System.
- Perform user testing and UX research to validate concepts and design iterations.
- Document Design System processes, standards and best practices to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Help train and guide internal teams on the use of the Design System.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices in UX/UI design and systems design.
Accessibility Designer
- Design and facilitate collaborative decision-making workshops.
- Design and document revised processes for product design, development, and quality assurance.
- Communicate and manage change.
- Research and draft guidelines on accessibility and inclusive design.
- Support in the design and delivery of training sessions.
- Evaluate accessibility through research, product testing, or design reviews
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in inclusive design, UX design, or a related field
- Bilingualism (French and English) - Necessary to interact regularly with colleagues across the country
- Available for 35 hours per week from January 5 to April 24
- Must return to studies in the fall semester after your internship
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating quality user experiences.
Specific Skills - UX Designer
- Portfolio demonstrating good knowledge of UX and UI design.
- Proficiency in design and prototype tools (Figma, Adobe, etc.)
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility
Specific Skills - Accessibility Designer
- Some familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Skills in one or more of the following areas: commercial design, change management, operations, product design, service design, web development, mobile development, business analysis, or quality assurance.
- Individuals with lived experience of disability and assistive technologies are strongly encouraged to apply.
