Underwriting Coordinator

We are looking for an innovative Underwriting Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the on boarding process for new payment partners and conducting underwriting assessments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the end-to-end on-boarding process for new payment partners, including gathering required documentation, conducting due diligence checks, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct underwriting assessments to evaluate the risk profile of potential payment partners and integrations.
• Analyze financial statements, reports, and other relevant data to assess the stability of partners.
• Review and interpret legal requirements set forth by our Legal teams as it relates to on-boarding processes.
• Developing strong relationships with third parties and partners.
• Understand corporate structures and how they relate to current and future on-boarding initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Payments, Legal, Finance and Product to resolve and expedite the on-boarding process.
• Identify potential Payments gaps that would require additional on-boarding and underwriting.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Must Haves:

• 2+ years in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize work and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Nice to Haves:

• Onboarding and underwriting mandates
• Payments experience is an asset.
