As a UI designer, you are responsible for designing and creating the graphic elements for digital products to enrich the user experience of our members and clients on different digital platforms. Your mission is to give the products a unique identity and personality, while respecting the graphical standards, ergonomic principles and best practices of the user experience. Your role is to handle user interface design projects, from needs identification to go live. You analyze client needs and help develop strategies and action plans for projects, taking into account visual interface design features. You help solve complex problems related to the visual development of solutions. You have obtained extensive knowledge of your line of work through your initiatives and projects. You serve as resource person for the design, development and project teams related to the visual identity of projects. You interact with various stakeholders working in other fields to understand their needs, and present and explain the different aspects of the user experience. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Actively participate in brainstorming, planning and project development sessions and make proposals that are aligned with the business needs.

  • Develop sample interactions, accounting for business needs, the optimization of the user experience, and ergonomic and technical impacts.

  • Design, build and optimize mock-ups according to the specifications and the needs identified by the team.

  • Create, produce, adapt and document the visual elements.

  • Actively work on the design, development and maintenance of a digital design system.

  • Monitor trends, identify opportunities and recommend improvements to work practices in terms of digital design and user-focused design.

  • Help the design, product management and IT development teams to ensure that co-creation runs smoothly and ensure that the delivered solutions align with the business objectives.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
