Your Role: At the Heart of the Chain

Core Duties: 

  • Safely guide and monitor vans within the station premises (inside and outside warehouse).  

  • Ensure compliance with traffic and safety protocols (e.g., speed limits, pedestrian zones).  

  • Park vans in designated warehouse areas after check-in.  

  • Assist operations teams during driver check-in and check-out processes.  

  • Verify documentation (e.g., delivery sheets, van conditions) as required.  

  • Support van audits (e.g., inspecting loaded/unloaded parcels for discrepancies).  

  • Help locate missing/misplaced packages in vans or staging areas.  

  • Prioritize tasks based on operational demands (e.g., focus on van flow bottlenecks).  

  • Report safety hazards, van damage, or unresolved package issues to supervisors.  

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and drivers to streamline operations.  

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.  

  • Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.  

  • Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.  

  • Respond to emergencies as required.  

  • Unload trailers if needed.  

  • Support the supervision of sorting packages 

  • General housekeeping, cleaning 

  • Other duties as assigned
