GENERAL SCOPE

Manages an assigned account base, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical sales and service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business for the District within an assigned Territory where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

Good knowledge of the job.  Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a limited understanding of the technical phases of the job.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures.  Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports.  In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.  

IMPACT

Impact to overall activity limited to immediate functional area. Errors could result in rework, and minor schedule impact.

Drive new sales from existing customers
Gain new customers in line with regional strategy and sector growth plans
Provide preventative maintenance, emergency service and install support as needed within territory
Develop DSRs at assigned  WW/L distributors
Implement the sales funnel in the OnDemand system
Manage territory expense budget
Execute support plan for global and national accounts within sales territory as needed
Deliver financial performance for sales territory
Develop margin improvement plans for territory
Provide input to innovation development funnel
Provide forecast input to District Manger for assigned distributors and accounts
Engage and train key customer teams within territory
Assist sectors on national program rollouts
Launch new products and promotions to assigned end user accounts
End user sales calls  with sector teams
Sales, margin and profit growth against plan
Innovation target achievement
Customer retention and satisfaction
Expense budget versus plan
Customer wins/key account penetration
Compliance for product and promotional launches
Compliance for monthly distributor meetings
% of customers with >=3 product/service categories
