We are an established, fast-growing Canadian distributor of essential medical and emergency equipment, supplying healthcare organizations, public institutions, first responders, and commercial businesses nationwide. Backed by partnerships with leading manufacturers and an extensive product catalog, we equip frontline professionals with vital clinical tools and emergency solutions. We take pride in building long-standing relationships with our clients and maintaining a high-performance, entrepreneurial team environment where proactive execution, dedication, and measurable impact are recognized and rewarded.

We are seeking a high-caliber Territory Account Manager – Western Canada who is a true sales professional. This is not a passive account management, order-taking, or customer support role—we want someone who genuinely loves the craft of selling, thrives on making outbound calls, and takes complete ownership of driving revenue across Western Canada.

Operating from our office in LaSalle, Quebec, a major portion of your day will be spent on the phone proactively connecting with decision-makers, uncovering operational needs, introducing new product categories, and closing business. You are both a hunter and a farmer: relentless about tracking down new accounts while methodically expanding our footprint across an existing customer base. We do not look for people who wait for the phone to ring or solely handle inbound inquiries. We want someone who picks up the phone, initiates meaningful conversations, creates opportunities, and delivers results.

Key Sales Expectations & Core KPIs

Consistent sales activity creates opportunity. The core metrics and performance drivers for this position include:

  • 25–30+ meaningful sales conversations with decision-makers each week.
  • Consistent daily outbound calling for both prospecting and account farming.
  • Proactive account expansion through regular contact, upselling, and cross-selling across product lines.
  • New account acquisition and steady generation of qualified opportunities.
  • Disciplined phone follow-up on quotes, active projects, and past conversations.
  • Territory growth & margin ownership, driving top-line revenue and profitability.
  • Event impact, actively representing the company at Western Canadian trade shows with aggressive post-event follow-up.
  • Pipeline & CRM accuracy, ensuring structured deal tracking and dependable sales forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Farming & Account Expansion: Own and develop an established customer base across Western Canada; build multi-threaded relationships with decision-makers, map purchasing cycles, and cross-sell diverse product categories to convert one-off orders into recurring, long-term business.
  • Hunting & Business Development: Actively research, cold-call, and prospect target organizations; generate leads through outbound calls, referrals, and networking; guide new accounts from initial conversation to first order and beyond.
  • Territory Strategy & Field Presence: Develop a thorough understanding of the Western Canadian market; identify emerging accounts and procurement opportunities; attend regional trade shows and travel into the territory as needed for key client meetings.
  • Sales Execution & Pipeline Management: Maintain clean CRM data, accurate forecasting, and a structured pipeline; follow up persistently on all outstanding quotes; collaborate with internal teams to ensure top-tier customer service and fulfillment.

What We Are Looking For
  • True Sales Mentality (Hunter & Farmer): Enjoys making outbound calls, speaking with decision-makers, and initiating conversations with new contacts; naturally uncovers needs, asks for the business, stays persistent through rejection, and operates with a proactive mindset ("Who can I call today? What can I sell to my current accounts? What opportunity am I missing?").
  • Industry Background (Strong Asset): Experience in medical equipment, healthcare procurement, emergency equipment, or B2B/institutional distribution is valuable, as are existing industry relationships. However, sales drive, work ethic, integrity, and relationship-building ability matter more than product knowledge—systems and products can be taught.
  • Character & Professional Attributes: High energy, self-motivated, coachable, organized, and accountable; a strong communicator who brings positive momentum to the team, thrives on healthy competition, and takes full ownership of results without needing micro-management.
Work Environment, Compensation & Why Join
  • Work Environment: Full-time, in-office role based in LaSalle, Quebec, balancing daily phone-based sales, CRM activity, and periodic travel to Western Canada for trade shows and key client meetings.
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary paired with an uncapped commission structure designed to deliver high earning potential and substantial long-term rewards as your recurring book of business expands.
  • Why Join Us: Step into an established customer base with the autonomy to build your own territory—driving growth through outbound calls, genuine relationships, and new account acquisition, backed by the support of an established Canadian distributor.
