Profil du poste : Les candidats devront effectuer des fonctions d'ajustement, d'assemblage, de fabrication, de réparation et de modification de pièces et de moules complexes en matériaux composites, selon les conditions, les critères et les précisions exigés par le poste.

Compétences : Les candidats doivent notamment démontrer les compétences suivantes :

  • Lire et interpréter les directives et procédures de travail, les plans, les croquis schématiques et les dessins techniques.
  • Effectuer les travaux de modification, de réparation, d’assemblage, de laminage et de fabrication pour notamment la cabine de pilotage du simulateur, en respectant les étapes de réalisation d'une pièce composite.
  • Savoir distinguer et connaître les différents constituants des matériaux composites.
  • Utiliser des instruments de contrôle spécialisés et un outillage propre aux pièces composites.
  • Produire de petits assemblages occasionnels de structure de métal en feuille.
  • Programmer des machines à impression 3D et réaliser des pièces en ABS.
  • Connaître les normes de précision de même que les règles de santé et de sécurité au travail, notamment le SIMDUT, et particulièrement celles reliées à la transformation de matériaux composites.

Expérience pratique : Un minimum de 6 mois d’expérience pertinente.

Sélection : Les candidats seront sélectionnés sur la base de leur ancienneté, pourvu qu'ils soient consentants, qu’ils rencontrent les exigences de l’affichage et qu’ils soient capables d'accomplir le travail de façon satisfaisante en lien avec les exigences du poste.  Les candidats doivent être membres du Syndicat. Une connaissance fonctionnelle du français est requise.

Academic and Professional Qualifications: Professional Study Diploma or D.E.C. in Composite Materials Transformation Technique.  Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.

Job Profile: The candidates must be able to adjust, assemble, manufacture, repair and modify complex parts and molds made of composite materials in accordance with the conditions, criteria and details required by the position.

Skills: The candidates must principally demonstrate the following skills:

  • Read and interpret work guidelines and procedures, plans, schematic sketches and technical drawings.
  • Perform modification, repair, assembly, lamination and manufacturing work of especially simulator’s cockpit, while following the steps required to create a composite part.
  • Distinguish and be familiar with the various components of composite materials.
  • Use specialized control instruments and particular tooling for composite parts.
  • Make small occasional sheet metal structural assemblies.
  • Program 3D printer machines and realize ABS parts.
  • Be familiar with accuracy standards, occupational health and safety regulations, especially WHMIS, and particularly those related to the transformation of composite materials.

Practical Experience: A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Selection: The candidates selected to fill the vacancies will be chosen on the basis of their seniority provided that they are willing, that they meet the requirements of the posting and that they are able to perform the work relating to the position satisfactorily.  The candidates must be members of the Union. Functional knowledge of French is required.
