Our Technical Writers play a meaningful role in supporting our operations team of manufacturing and distribution by crafting and updating documentation. This is your chance to contribute to world-class manufacturing processes and ensure flawless compliance with MDSAP and ISO 13845 QMS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Aids, and other vital documentation.
- Develop instructional materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure documentation aligns with branding, style guidelines, and company standards.
- Collect technical information by working closely with engineers, operations team leaders and their staff, regulatory affairs, and support teams.
- Conduct interviews to understand process capabilities and product functionality better.
- Review, edit, and proofread documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure documentation is up to date with product releases and system updates.
- Maintain document version control and ensure compliance with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management System standards.
- Assist in publishing documentation using a content management system (MasterControl) in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs and Engineering teams.
- Coordinate and categorize information for easy access and search-ability.
- Maintain compliance with MDSAP and ISO 13845 QMS requirements.
Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- College diploma or higher in technical writing or an equivalent science degree.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Outstanding ability to communicate sophisticated information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Shown experience as a Technical Writer in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of MDSAP and ISO 13845 QMS standards are assets.
