The Role:
We're looking for a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to bridge the gap between our integrations team, engineering, product management, and sales. This role will centralize accountability for all integration projects including OEMs, Partners, DMSs, and other systems to ensure our customers achieve maximum value from our interconnected ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Partnership Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration partners, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain productive relationships with technical contacts at partner organizations
- Advocate for customers' integration needs while balancing technical feasibility and business priorities
- Manage the intake process for all integration requests, ensuring proper evaluation and prioritization
Technical Project Management
- Run intake meetings for new integration requests from product, sales, and support teams
- Analyze and scope integration requirements, collaborating with engineering to determine feasibility
- Schedule and coordinate pilot testing in both development and production environments
- Oversee implementation of integration projects from requirement definition to deployment
- Monitor integration performance and health metrics, driving continuous improvement
Documentation & Certification
- Design, oversee, and maintain the CRM public API certification process for partners
- Maintain comprehensive integration documentation and procedural guidelines
- Create and update technical specifications for integrations and APIs
Issue Resolution
- Screen and evaluate integration-related bugs and issues
- Conduct functional testing to differentiate between technical bugs, knowledge gaps, and feature requests
- Triage and route issues appropriately to engineering teams or product management
- Follow through on resolution and communicate status to stakeholders
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Provision and configure test environments for integration validation
- Develop and execute test plans for new integrations and features
- Coordinate with partners during testing phases to ensure proper functionality
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Semi-technical background with ability to understand API concepts, data formats, and integration patterns
- Experience with CRM systems, dealer management systems (DMS), or automotive software (preferred)
- Ability to set up and configure environments for testing and pilot phases
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization concepts
- Proficient with technical documentation and specification writing
Leadership Skills
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business contexts
- Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product ownership, technical project management, or related role
- Experience with software integration projects, particularly in B2B contexts
- Knowledge of the automotive retail industry (preferred)
- Must be bilingual in French and English
