The Role

Apryse is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive the go-to-market strategy for our server-based document processing SDKs. You will be a subject matter expert in document extraction, including OCR/ICR and smart data extraction in order to translate complex PDF and image processing capabilities into clear value propositions. This role is pivotal in enabling our Sales and Marketing teams to drive new and expansion sales motions with credible messaging.

Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager develops technically accurate product positioning, produces and delivers sales enablement content, is responsible for the quarterly launch process, and creates high-quality sales and marketing assets. You aren't just summarizing features; you are diving into the 'how' and 'why' of our SDKs to help developers solve complex document processing problems. This role strengthens our ability to communicate how Apryse solutions perform in real-world operational environments while equipping Sales and Marketing teams with credible, technically proficient content.

The ideal candidate brings direct experience in a product, marketing or sales engineering role for a developer tools product/s. Reporting into the product organization, you will operate as both a technical subject matter expert and a strategic contributor to all stakeholders. You will balance deep product knowledge with strong commercial awareness, ensuring that messaging, and technical content directly support inbound marketing tactics and deal progression.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex technical features and workflows into clear, mission-relevant value propositions grounded in real-world document processing use cases.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and solution engineering to define and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with company growth objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and refine the Developer Persona, understanding the friction points in the discovery, POC development, and the long-term maintenance and scalability of applications with embedded document processing.
  • Create and maintain technically accurate sales and marketing materials, including presentations, datasheets, website content, use case videos, and marketing briefs.
  • Use the tools and systems available to you to understand customer feedback, market trends, and inform your stakeholders with regular insights.
  • Work closely with Sales and enablement teams to ensure understanding of your product area and market changes (such as regulations or geographical exceptions) that would impact messaging and roadmap.
  • Serve as a key collaborator with Product and Engineering teams to ensure external messaging accurately reflects Apryse capabilities, limitations, and roadmap direction.
Requirements
  • Experience articulating technical concepts like REST APIs, SDK implementation, or server-side processing.
  • Familiarity with server-side environments and popular languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or Go) to effectively communicate with technical counterparts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into value.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for team meetings and industry events when required.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in product marketing, technical marketing, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Experience working in a company with an inboundgo-to-market strategy
  • Comfort in speaking publicly about the company and products
  • Entry level coding skills a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience & qualifications.
  • A comprehensive extended benefits package including health, dental and vision for you and your family that starts from day one.
  • A great team environment and resources, supporting you to do the best work of your life and providing unlimited career growth potential.
  • Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bi-weekly lunches and monthly socials (virtual for now).
  • Annual recurring WFH allowance for you to purchase items you need for your home office.
  • Unlimited learning development budget so you can master your craft.
  • Work with the hardware you're most comfortable with (Windows or Mac)
  • Diverse and inclusive workplace where we all learn from each other.
  • Excellent work-life balance with a flexible work environment.
