We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Technical Product Marketing Manager to join Ada’s growing marketing team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert on both our technical value proposition and competitive landscape. You’ll shape how we position our platform for technical buyers and decision-makers, while also driving Ada’s competitive intelligence function to help us maintain our position as the leading AI customer service platform.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing—ideal for someone who can speak the language of developers and decision-makers, while turning competitive signals into actionable go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, technical marketing, developer advocate, product evangelist, or sales engineering within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong technical acumen: comfortable interpreting technical documentation, demo products, and extract technical differentiators to identify opportunities for Ada.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling competitive intelligence programs and resources that influence enterprise GTM strategies.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise insights.
- Collaborative, curious, and self-driven—able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of AI and customer service technologies is a strong plus.
Outcomes
- Go-to-Market & Positioning: Lead technical positioning and messaging for Ada’s platform emphasizing product differentiators to technical audiences and executive buyers. Translate product features into compelling, customer-centric value propositions.
- Demonstrate Product Value: Create compelling demos that highlight product capabilities and use cases for various industry verticals.
- Lead competitive intelligence: Develop and manage a robust competitive intelligence program, including tracking industry trends, monitoring competitor activities, and analyzing market dynamics. Deliver quarterly competitive landscape reports with actionable insights.
- Build & maintain battlecards: Create and continuously update competitive battlecards, positioning guides, and objection-handling resources, ensuring 80%+ adoption rate among sales teams and regular updates every quarter.
- Strategic insights: Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis to inform go-to-market strategies, product roadmaps, and executive decision-making.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing teams to embed competitive insights into campaigns, messaging, and product strategies.
- Thought leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, automation, and customer experience technologies to position Ada as an innovative leader. Publish 4 (one per quarter) thought leadership reports annually.
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 CAD. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors such as past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
