Your mission as a Team Lead Client Relations
is to drive commercial success by combining strong leadership with hands-on sales execution. You’ll be responsible for your own book of business while leading and developing a team of 3–5 sales professionals.

As a Sales Team Lead, you’ll own the team’s total quota, balancing personal bookings with coaching, pipeline management, and strategic growth initiatives. You’ll set the tone for commercial excellence, ensuring pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and consistent year-over-year growth through a data-driven and disciplined approach.
 
You’ll lead by example: actively engaging in full-funnel B2B sales while empowering your team to execute with confidence, curiosity, and accountability.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take full commercial responsibility for your own portfolio and your team’s overall book of business.
  • Lead and coach a team of 3–5  Account Executives, fostering growth, ownership, and consistent performance.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and pipeline deep dives to ensure clarity, progress, and accountability.
  • Align weekly forecasts and commit updates with the Head of Sales, ensuring accurate visibility of the team’s performance.
  • Drive consistent pipeline growth and renewal performance by establishing strong outbound, inbound, and expansion practices.
  • Support strategic account planning and execution, ensuring key clients receive high-quality engagement and long-term value.
  • Apply structured coaching and feedback methods to continuously develop team members’ commercial skills and confidence.
  • Balance your own active sales pipeline with leadership duties — maintaining a hands-on, role-model approach to selling.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to guide decisions, improve forecasting, and optimise conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Research teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

You will thrive in this role if

  • You bring at least 2 years of sales leadership experience combined with a strong hands-on sales mentality.
  • You have a proven track record in full-funnel B2B sales, including pipeline creation, client acquisition, and account expansion.
  • You’re comfortable balancing 60–70% personal sales with 30–40% team leadership and development responsibilities.
  • You’re skilled in coaching, feedback, and performance management, helping your team grow both commercially and personally.
  • You take a structured, strategic approach to sales. Planning long-term growth, prioritising effectively, and executing with discipline.
  • You have experience in account planning and execution, ensuring every client relationship drives measurable business impact.
  • You’re data-driven and analytical, leveraging insights to improve decision-making and drive predictable outcomes.
  • You understand market research (MR) and the value of insights in driving business growth.
  • You’re a motivating, empathetic leader with strong communication skills and a consultative mindset.
  • You maintain a positive, can-do attitude and foster the same energy across your team.
  • You are fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
