Job Description

Reporting into the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and will play a critical role in maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates for the business units they support.  

What you're responsible for: 

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs and requirements for each role. 
  • Offer guidance and advice to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, interview techniques, and candidate evaluation.  
  • Collaborate with HR teams and management to align recruitment efforts with overall business goals. 
  • Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.   
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities in the ATS, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. 
  • Execute sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified candidates for senior-level and specialized roles. 
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements. 
  • Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. 
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations based on interviews and assessments. 
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience. 
  • Actively promote the company’s culture, values, and employer brand to attract top talent. 
  • Attend job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities to represent the company and build relationships with potential candidates

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Previous experience managing full cycle recruiting, sales, customer service  
  • Knowledge and proven track record tapping traditional and non-traditional candidate natural habitats both online and in person 
  • Knowledge in soliciting and utilizing employee referrals 
  • Proficient at time management
  • A strong sense of urgency flexibility and adaptability 
  • Persuasive and effective written and spoken communication skills 
  • Fluent in French and English
