As a Talent Acquisition Program Manager - Strategy, Technology & Enablement, you'll join a team responsible for some of Talent Acquisition's most exciting priorities. You'll help shape how recruiters work, how candidates experience hiring, and how technology and AI are leveraged across Canada, United States and Global markets.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, technology, artificial intelligence, strategy and transformation. Whether your background is Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, consulting, technology or transformation, you'll have the chance to influence high-impact initiatives and help shape the future of hiring at Sun Life.

What will you do?

  • Lead strategic initiatives that modernize Talent Acquisition capabilities, processes and ways of working.

  • Drive adoption and optimization of recruiting technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Partner with leaders, technology teams and external partners to develop roadmaps, priorities and future capabilities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiter productivity, candidate experience and operational effectiveness.

  • Lead change management, communication and enablement activities that support successful transformation.

  • Monitor emerging trends and innovations to help shape the future direction of Talent Acquisition at Sun Life.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience leading complex Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, technology or transformation initiatives.

  • Experience delivering business outcomes through process improvement, technology implementation or organizational change.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple teams and levels of leadership.

  • Ability to translate business challenges into practical solutions and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility and interest in innovation, technology, artificial intelligence and the future of work.

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, talent intelligence platforms, automated interview scheduling platforms, candidate relationship management systems, conversational AI or recruiting automation solutions.

  • Experience supporting AI-enabled tools, copilots, workflow automation or digital workplace initiatives.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
