The Opportunity
Nascent is looking for a creative and curious Talent Acquisition Partner to help us build our talent funnel for unique and specialized roles. You will focus on finding the outliers—the people with drive, edge, and a passion for building what doesn’t yet exist. You may be new in your recruiting journey, but you have experience identifying exceptional talent and have found success getting in front of them.
You’ll lead searches across investing, engineering, and platform roles, working closely with hiring managers to define success, craft strategy, and close exceptional people. You’ll manage the full cycle, while ensuring every candidate experience is crisp and clear. This is a remote role, with travel for in-person work and retreats.
What You’ll Do
- Quickly, proactively, and creatively identify and engage exceptional talent across a range of roles and domains
- Run full-cycle searches: define role needs, source, assess, and close
- Build outreach and job content that’s high-signal and compelling
- Orchestrate interview loops, offers, and hiring team comms with speed and clarity
- Use our AI-powered recruiting stack to scale and sharpen your work
- Track emerging talent and build long-term relationships for future opportunities
- Partner closely with hiring managers and candidates, offering insight, on motivation, opportunity, and alignment
About You
- 1-2 years of recruiting experience, as a sourcer recruiting coordinator, or recruiter at an agency or fast-paced start-up
- Sharp instincts for talent: you can spot drive, curiosity, and edge in someone’s story
- Strong communicator: you write clearly, speak directly, and build trust quickly
- Comfortable using AI tools and recruiting tech to move faster and be more effective
- Naturally curious and persistent: you follow threads, ask better questions, and don’t give up easily
- Comfortable using AI tools and recruiting tech to move faster and be more effective
- Motivated by human performance, growth, and the psychology of high achievers
Bonus Points
- You have experience recruiting in early-stage or high-performance environments (trading, crypto, AI, startups)
- You have exposure to hiring for technical or investing roles
- You’ve built sourcing automations, talent tracking dashboards, or AI workflows
- You recognize potential beyond traditional credentials and conventional career paths
