We are seeking a for a Talent Acquisition Intern to support high-volume recruitment for our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of a steady talent pipeline to meet high operational demands.
Responsibilities
Support talent sourcing and attraction activities, including the use of resume databases and social media platforms.
Identify and pre-screen candidates based on established criteria and operational needs.
Conduct pre-screening calls and assist with phone or virtual interviews under supervision.
Coordinate the various stages of the recruitment process, including assessments, background checks, and pre-employment steps.
Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Collaborate with operations managers to align staffing needs with recruitment efforts.
Participate in follow-up meetings and support the analysis of recruitment performance indicators, including hires, no-shows, and pipeline health.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or in business administration.
Basic proficiency in computer tools, including Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Strong ability to manage priorities and work in a high-volume environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
Effective in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
