As an Infrastructure Designer, you will play a key role in the design, evolution, and governance of technology platforms supporting Individual Insurance operations.
This role will allow you to leverage your technical expertise in a collaborative environment where innovation and continuous improvement are top priorities.
What You Will Accomplish With Us
As an Infrastructure Designer, you will be at the heart of our technology initiatives. You will:
- Clarify and analyze infrastructure needs (cloud and on-premises) with IT teams and partners
- Propose solutions aligned with the organization’s technology direction
- Plan cross-functional infrastructure initiatives and oversee their execution
- Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, compliance)
- Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure solution consistency and quality
- Provide guidance to internal and external technical resources
- Participate in technology watch activities and promote best practices
- Act as a technical reference and spokesperson across various governance forums
- Contribute to the deployment and operationalization of solutions
- Promote reuse of existing components and support the selection of technology solutions
What Helps You Succeed in This Role
We are looking for someone who:
- Is recognized for strong expertise in infrastructure architecture (cloud and traditional environments)
- Stands out for analytical thinking, synthesis, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Demonstrates natural leadership and the ability to influence in complex environments
- Has strong coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.)
- Has over 6 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in architecture or a related field
- Is proficient in methodologies and frameworks (Agile, SAFe, SDLC, DevOps, etc.)
- Has knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry (an asset)
- Has an advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
