The Supply Chain Manager will oversee raw material purchasing, monitor supply needs, manage supplier relationships, and ensure operational efficiency in compliance with company policies.

We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Supply Chain Manger/Buyer. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics.
What you will do
- Gather raw material pricing information to produce costed bills of material in support of customer quotations.
- Actively review MRP outputs to understand raw material supply needs.
- Work with suppliers to confirm product price and lead time.
- Purchase raw materials in support of the production schedule while adhering to material budget requirements.
- Actively monitor and expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure delivery dates and production schedules are being met.
- Gather data and report on supplier performance, and other relevant performance indices.
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures and, if necessary, contribute to their improvement to promote better business practices.
- Proactively build effective working relations with your peers to support optimal supply chain operations.
- Perform other occasional assignments in the spirit and purpose of the role and within the scope of the Supply Chain Management function.
What you will need
- Profound understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficiency in MS-Excel and other MS-Office software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate, both internally and externally.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, ensuring key milestones and regular deadlines are achieved.
- 5+ years in a purchasing or similar role. Consideration may be given to recent graduates of a Supply Chain Management, or similar, post-secondary academic curriculum.
- Prototype/NPI and low volume manufacturing experience is an asset.
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management is considered an asset.
- APICS, PMAC or other Purchasing/Supply Chain qualification/certification is an asset.
